Renting a scooter for MotoGP week
The Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit hosts the Indonesian MotoGP and WorldSBK rounds. On race weeks, Kuta and Mandalika fill up completely, car traffic around the circuit slows to a crawl and scooters are by far the easiest way to get to the gates.
- Book your scooter as soon as you have your race tickets – we do sell out.
- Leave early on race day; police divert traffic around the circuit.
- Use the official motorbike parking and lock the steering.
- Carry your licence, International Driving Permit and the STNK – checks are more frequent on race weekends.
Which scooter to pick
For hopping between Mandalika, Kuta and the nearby beaches a Honda Vario 110 is all you need. Riding two-up or heading west to Selong Belanak? Take the Honda Vario 125. Compare the whole fleet in our scooter comparison or see all scooters and prices.

Yes, but book as early as possible. During MotoGP and WorldSBK race weeks at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, demand for scooters in Kuta and Mandalika is much higher than usual and the fleet can be fully booked. A scooter is also the easiest way to get around, because car traffic near the circuit is heavy on race days.
For rides between Mandalika, Kuta, Tanjung Aan and Gerupuk a Honda Vario 110 or Scoopy is enough. If you ride two-up or plan day trips west to Selong Belanak, take the Honda Vario 125. For long rides across the island the Yamaha NMAX 155 or Honda PCX 160 are more comfortable.
