Prices: daily, weekly and monthly
The longer you rent, the less you pay per day. These are our current daily and weekly rates. Monthly rates are quoted individually on WhatsApp because they depend on the model, the season and the length of your stay – they are always below the weekly rate per day.

Budget around IDR 50.000 per week for petrol if you ride daily around Kuta. A full tank at the Pertamina station costs roughly that much.

The best scooters for a long stay
Honda Vario 125 – the best value. Strong enough for two people and the hills west of Kuta, cheap on fuel and easy to park. This is what most of our monthly guests ride.
Honda PCX 160 – the comfortable choice. A long, soft seat and a smooth 160cc engine for regular trips to Senggigi, the Gili harbour or the north of the island.
Honda Scoopy 110 – for solo riders who mostly stay around Kuta and want something light and simple. Compare all options in our scooter guide.
Tips for riding Lombok for a month or more
- Paperwork: carry your licence, International Driving Permit and the STNK at all times – police checks on the Kuta–Praya road happen throughout the year. Details in our rental guide.
- Rainy season: roughly November to March. Keep a rain poncho under the seat and be careful on sandy beach tracks after heavy rain.
- Security: lock the steering and take the key, even for a quick stop. Park inside your villa or homestay overnight.
- Tyres and brakes: if anything feels different, message us straight away rather than waiting until the end of the month.

Monthly rates at BADY in Kuta Lombok are quoted on WhatsApp and are always cheaper per day than our weekly prices, which start at IDR 450.000 for a Honda Vario 110 and IDR 600.000 for a Honda Vario 125. The exact monthly price depends on the model, the season and how many months you stay – message us your dates for a fixed quote.
The Honda Vario 125 and the Honda PCX 160 are the most popular long-term rentals. The Vario 125 is the best value for daily rides around Kuta and the south coast, the PCX 160 is the more comfortable choice if you ride two-up or plan regular trips across the island.
We agree the payment on WhatsApp before delivery. Most long-term guests pay month by month in cash or by bank transfer. There are no hidden fees and the price we confirm is the price you pay.
Tell us on WhatsApp. We look after the scooters we rent out, so if something needs fixing through normal use we repair it or bring a replacement at no cost to you, usually at your accommodation in Kuta.
Yes, as often as you like. Send us one message before the month ends and keep riding – you do not need to bring the scooter back to the shop.
For stays of up to several months, yes. Buying means paperwork, registration, resale and repairs, and foreigners cannot easily register a vehicle in their own name. A long-term rental gives you a maintained scooter with valid papers and no resale risk.
